About Me

I'm so glad you stopped by my blog!   I am a Virgo, so if you know about Virgo's you know I tend to be a perfectionist!   I started sewing when I was in the 7th grade, and it has been the one hobby I have loved the most.   Once my kids were raised,  I shifted my love of sewing  clothes, to making quilts. My full time job as a Computer Technical Analyst has been my focus for over 30 yrs.  But, about 12 yrs. ago I needed a change.  So, I ventured out, studied and became a certified Reflexologist.   I love giving a good foot treatment, and have seen some wonderful results. My family (mainly my husband) benefits the most from my Reflexology.   Since I'm still working full time, I have to fit my Reflexology in when ever I can. My passions are sewing (actually making quilts), gardening, and photography. In addition, I love having my family close by. My children and grand children are scattered from coast to coast!   I love to cook when I have time, I love a good cup of coffee or tea, and one of my secret ambition is to have a "retreat" home that I can rent out for quilting, scrap booking, flower retreats, or what ever event suits your fancy. Like most women, my favorite food group is CHOCOLATE!! I love learning new things.  So, watch for a "little diversion" from time to time.
