Crabapple Hill Retreat!

My sister Patty and I attended our 3rd Crabapple Hill Retreat.  From the moment we stepped inside the Crabapple Hill Studio we instantly felt like we were in our element!  There were quilts hanging everywhere.  Beautiful Christmas trees, embroidered pillows and projects on shelves and chairs.  It is always an amazing place to spend time!

Fall.....

There is something special about Fall.  It seems like life slows down.  I'm grateful that I am able to enjoy the change of Seasons!  This photo was taken in New Hampshire in 2003.  It was in the height of "Leaf Season".  I would love to go there again.  I met some great people and took in the wonderful surroundings that the Universe presents to us during this time of the year!

Moving more dirt....

It's been a long process - but we are moving forward...literally!  Steve is moving dirt so the patio and garage floor can be poured.  Still tons of work to do.  But, if the weather would hold up for us, we are hoping to get those done in the next couple of weeks.  Time will tell....we could use the good weather fairy to shine on our building site!

Improved health with Reflexology

If any of you know about Reflexology it truly is a modality that helps to relief stress throughout your whole body.

Foot and hand reflexology is a scientific art based on the premise that there are zones and reflex areas in the feet and hands which correspond to all body parts.  The physical act of applying specific pressures using thumb, finger and hand techniques result in stress reduction which causes a physiological change in the body.

Being a certified Reflexologist I love hearing about how my treatment helps my clients.  If you have enjoyed a Reflexology session, I'd love to hear how it has helped you.

Ready for Quilter's Chocolate!

I made this cute little fabric basket and have it sitting in my office.  I try to keep some dark chocolate inside - just in case the urge arises!

One of my Favorites!

I don't know how many people out there love scones, but they are a weakness for me!  Instead of buying them, I decided to make a batch.  Oh, I have to tell you, they were divine!
